SUVs and the I.R.S.

Mike Daley has written to inform me of this piece in the NY Times on how SUVs are benefiting from tax laws originally designed to assist small business owners who need pick-up trucks for work. Perhaps even David Brooks would agree that romanticizing SUVs doesn't mean demanding that they receive special tax status. Outlets for thymos don't require tax exemptions.
