Stars for the War
One of the more amusing regular features on the Weekly Standard's website is David Skinner's "Stardumb" chronicle, detailing Hollywood's dissatisfaction with Bush's foreign policy and complete with a "Barbometer" named after the quintessential Hollywood liberal, Barbara Streisand. Today, Skinner discusses some stars who are actually for the war. Leading the pack is an athlete, Wayne Gretzky, who is the greatest hockey player of all time and a Canadian. Perhaps his countrymen can take a lesson from him on this score. Among the other stars mentioned is Joe Pantoliano, most recently of the Sopranos.
