Terrorism Threatens my "Lifestyle"
The following is a quote from historian Joseph Ellis, and illustrates that the American Left cannot or will not take terrorism seriously.
Sept. 11 does not rise to that level of threat (the Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, WWII, and the Cold War) because, while it places lives and lifestyles at risk, it does not threaten the survival of the American republic, even though the terrorists would like us to believe so.
Right, terrorism threatens my "lifestyle."
If I wasn't so worried about my country, I'd almost feel sorry for Osama bin Laden. What does he have to do to get the myopic Left to take him seriously?
