King and the Queen

When asked by Larry King a few nights ago why there weren't any democracies in the Arab world, Queen Noor of Jordan mumbled something silly about Israel and the problems it creates. So the existence of Israel prevents the entire Arab world from creating decent regimes. Of course, King, who has been fawning all over her for years (as the American Scene notes), didn't challenge her remarks.

How long will this anti-Semitic Princeton alumna get a pass from the American media? And what should we think when we see this happen? That the media has a left-wing bias or that it is just stupid and foolishly captivated by the still-attractive coed-cum-crown of this desert despotism?
